    The Committee on Roads and Transportation moves to amend the bill on page six, subdivision (3), line seventy-six, by inserting a new Paragraph (C) to read as follows:

    “(C) Research and consider replacing all or a portion of the fuel excise tax with an increase in the sales tax as an alternative source for funding road development and maintenance.”, and

    By redesignating the current paragraph (C) as (D).
